This commercial is really upbeat and enjoyable. Or at least, as upbeat and enjoyable as you’ll ever find for a cup-ramen commercial. Check out the dancing sumo here. I’m not certain of the tune that they’re dancing to, but if I’m not mistaken it’s a Morning Musume tune. Can anyone confirm? Read the rest of this entry »
Here’s one from the vault for you. It’s an old tuna commercial from 30 years back – 1978 to be precise – starring a cast of Star Wars characters. Everyone is there: C3PO, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Darth Vader, and even Chewbacca. The problem is, it’s doesn’t look to be an authorized Star Wars ad, but rather a group of knock-offs. But I guess back in 1978, Hollywood’s intellectual property wasn’t a huge priority. Read the rest of this entry »
This is one scary looking dog! Although by the end of the commercial her proves himself to be truly man’s best friend. I think…
Watch as the little boy starts out in a lousy mood, while his trusty dog goes through great pains trying to cheer him up. Nothing seems to work until… Yes, you guessed it. He goes to the local conbini and buys the kids come potato chips. (Ok, maybe you didn’t guess that!). Read the rest of this entry »
This is a pretty messed up commercial any way you slice it. Check out MMA fighter Bob Sapp doin’ his little Pizza La dance with all these cute Japanese girls in the background. Read the rest of this entry »

Some of you may remember the Lotte Fits ad campaign that came out a few months back. The commercial was an infectious song and dance routine that the company invited viewers to do the dance as well, and submit videos to their Lotte Fits dance contest.
Well they’re back with a new one, and it’s even cuter than the first. I’m a little skeptical about the guy in the commercial though. He doesn’t seem like the manliest knife in the drawer…
You still love Chiaki Kuriyama? Well, she still loves the aloe vera yogurts. Please note that eating yogurt with a spoon is totally trendy again… Click here to see the ad.
You love Chiaki Kuriyama (aka ‘Gogo Yubari’ in Kill Bill vol.1)? You enjoy the delicate freshness of yogurt? You feel aloe vera is the healthiest thing ever? Wow, this ad really is for you! Please note that eating yogurt with a spoon is so 5 minutes ago, you gotta “suck” it now (and sometimes you choke on a little piece of aloe vera)… Click here to see the ad.
Apart from Pocky and Pretz, Glico also makes a very famous cookie called Bisco, which allegedly makes you strong. Not sure why, though. So they have that campaign with the cute baby on the box behaving strangely like an adult, through nice and subtle CG. Click here to see the ad.
Shibasaki Kou (柴咲コウ) is one of the four Pocky girls. This is yet another Pocky ad. Not the best, but who could resist those eyes and this smile?
And by the way, what she says is “soft…” Click here to see the ad.
