Anyone who has seen the famous Aflac maneki neko daku commercial here in Japan will likely not be surprised that this tune is being made into a CD single. The ad has enjoyed great success, and now they’re going to try to milk it for all it’s worth.
The singers are even doing live performances of the ad, one of which recently aired on Japanese TV (see video below). Please note the dancing maneki neko daku off to the right. It’s pretty hilarious. But undeniably catchy.

Some of you may remember the Lotte Fits ad campaign that came out a few months back. The commercial was an infectious song and dance routine that the company invited viewers to do the dance as well, and submit videos to their Lotte Fits dance contest.
Well they’re back with a new one, and it’s even cuter than the first. I’m a little skeptical about the guy in the commercial though. He doesn’t seem like the manliest knife in the drawer…
Chiaki Kuriyama is doing a lot of commercials lately. Her fans must be very happy: she is just everywhere these days… This one ad is a CM for the Panasonic P901iS Foma keitai that plays music and has a LED display on the front so that it entertains you while you listen to your favorite songs (and in this ad, she is listening to Love Psychedelico, in case you wondered).
